After-School Clay

8 weekly sessions culminating in an art show!

Join us for a short play time in the garden followed by plenty of time to work with clay in the studio. Students can come with their own ideas or pick from some examples to get their creativity flowing! Each student receives individualized instruction based on their skill level and interests, and will inspire each other with their creations. Learn to use basic hand-building techniques, the slab roller, explore textures, and get a chance to try the pottery wheel.

We will be creating hand-built works of art as well as usable dishware with white stoneware clay and non-toxic glaze. Snacks are provided!
